A comment on the season calendar.
Members from 2017 and previous will note that the program is a bit different this year, notably that the RAC Champs will be held before the mid-year holidays. The Athletics NT (ANT) Meets give 9yrs+ athletes additional competition opportunities leading up to the RAC championships.

After the holidays we will be holding competition taking ideas from the Athletics Australia Nitro Athletics in having a mixture of both traditional and not so traditional events including relays, handicap races, and distance challenges. This will give our members good competition leading up to the NT Championships, and at the same time provide something a bit different and interesting for both athletes and spectators.
The change in the program is a trial for 2018 and we welcome feedback at the end of the season from athletes and others. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
