RAC Update 02/05/14

A very big thank you to all that are helping out at training and competition, both old and new faces. It is fantastic and keeps building on the good environment we think we have at RAC. We hope you are all enjoying it as well - not just your kids!

With next Saturday afternoon, 10th May, being Interclub 1 for 2014, a few things to mention:

Interclub is for registered competitors only, so if you wish to compete and haven't already registered please hop onto the Athletics NT website membership portal at http://www.ntathletics.org.au/Membership and follow the prompts.
If you have registered and have yet to collect your registration number, please come and see Jo or Lynne at the desk tomorrow. Make sure you have your sports voucher if applicable. The rego bib should be worn every Saturday at RAC comp, but MUST be worn at Interclub. The bib can be pinned, sewed, ironed to your top - whatever it easiest for you.
RAC uniform is the club singlet/tshirt/crop top with your own black bottoms. If you are not purchasing a top before next Saturday, please wear a blue (preferable) or white singlet or tshirt for Interclub.

About RAC

Rural Athletics Centre is a community based club promoting fun and fitness. Our season runs March/April - September.

All ages are encouraged to get involved, whether it be competing, officiating, or general assisting. Athletics suits all fitness and skill levels and at RAC we encourage ‘having a go’, making friends and having fun.

Club affiliation and registration with Athletics Northern Territory also allows members to compete in Athletics NT competitions including the NT Championships (9yrs+) and have the opportunity to be selected in Athletics NT teams for national and international competitions.

Registration Fees 2020

2020/21 registration is now OPEN.

We have moved to a new registration system for the 2020 season, so any 2019/20 season members will need to select 'Register" to become a member (don't select the 'Renew' option).

Any members that signed up for pre-season training can select Renew as you will be already in the system.

Nb. Registration is for the period 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021. Age is as at 31/12/2020.

Tiny Tots (3-5yrs) $ 50.00

Senior (19-59yrs) $ 80.00

Competitions

Rural Athletics competitions

Commencing Sat 6th June 2020.

Saturday mornings from 8.00am, minimum 2 track & 2 field events offered for each age group each week.

RAC Championships

Held over two Saturdays plus some mid-week events. Entry fee may apply.

Athletics NT Meets

Open to 9yrs+ athletes, held every 3-4 weeks during the year. Small cost involved.

NT Track & Field Championships

For 9 years and up. Qualifying standards may apply. Entry fees apply. Held at Arafura Stadium, Marrara at end of season (Aug/Sep)
