RAC member, Kylie Smith will be participating in a 2-day major cycling event called The Lightsview Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting Flinders Medical Centre Foundation 29-30 Nov 2014. Kylie will be cycling over 200 kilometres that weekend, throughout South Australia's scenic countryside, with thousands of other Riders. All the proceeds will go to Flinders Medical Centre Foundation. Collected funds support vital medical research and equipment for Flinders Medical Centre, to improve the quality of life for those in need.
Kylie is have committed to raising at least $2500 to this cause and ideally even more. To kick things off to a good start, she has pledged to shave her head if she can reach $1000 in new donations by 1 March.
